CHINESE CHICKEN SALAD 
3 c. torn lettuce
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced & drained
1/4 c. red cabbage, chopped
1 can chow mein noodles
1 1/2 c. cooked chicken, chopped
1/2 c. carrots
1/4 c. green onion, chopped

DRESSING:

3 1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper

In a large bowl, toss chicken and vegetables and dressing. Top with noodles. Serves 4 to 6.
