1/4 cup cornstarch
1 cup milk
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Whip together cornstarch and milk and cook until thick like pudding mixture. Make sure there are no lumps. Place in refrigerator until mixture is cold.

In another bowl add the remaining ingredients and whip until fluffy. Add the pudding mixture and continue to beat until it is mixed well, about 15 minutes or longer.
