4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. stick cinnamon
2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. whole cloves

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Drop peaches in syrup and cook until tender. Put in hot sterilized jars and seal.
