STUFFED TOMATOES 
4 tomatoes (firm)
1 c. Cheddar cheese, roughly grated
1/4 c. onion, finely grated
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Pinch of oregano
Buttered bread crumbs

Cut tops from tomatoes, remove pulp carefully, save. Combine salt and pepper; sprinkle inside tomatoes, set aside. Combine chopped pulp, cheese, onion and oregano. Fill tomatoes, top with buttered crumbs and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves four.
