MARINATED SLAW 
1 head cabbage, shredded
2 onions, sliced
7/8 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
3/4 c. oil
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seeds
1 tbsp salt

Arrange cabbage and onions in layers and top with sugar. Bring vinegar, oil, 2 Tbsp sugar, mustard, celery seeds and salt to a boil and pour over cabbage and onions. Store in refrigerator. Better if left for 3 days. Will keep for weeks refrigerated.
