APPLE STREUSEL COBBLER 
2 (21 oz.) cans Comstock apple filling
14 oz. can condensed milk (not evaporated)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 eggs
1/4 c. butter (melted)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter (cold)
1/2 c. Quaker instant oats

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spread apple filling in deep dish casserole. In bowl beat eggs, add condensed milk, melted butter and spices; mix well. Pour over apple filling. In separate bowl combine sugar, flour; cut in cold butter until crumbly. Add nuts and oats. Sprinkle over custard. Bake approximately 1 hour or until set. Serve warm plain or with vanilla ice cream. This is very rich but very delicious; a family favorite!
