MISS FANNIE'S FAMOUS POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. rum flavoring
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk

Cream together butter, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add flavorings. Combine dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder) and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. If you don't have rum or coconut flavoring - vanilla works well. Bake in tube pan at 325 degrees. Bake 1-1 1/2 hours while testing for doneness.
