1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
12 lg. marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. coconut

Prepare cake mix, baking in 3 (8 inch) layer pans.

Note: The new butter cake mix with the added butter makes 3 very plump layers.

For Filling: Combine milk and sugar and bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add 12 large marshmallows. Stir to melt. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and coconut. Frost between layers. Delicious! Additional top frosting recipe is following.
