CHOCOLATE MERINGUE PIE 
1 (9 inch) pie shell
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. cornstarch or flour
2 egg yolks
1 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. water
Dash of salt

MERINGUE:

2 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar

Put sugar in heavy saucepan, add cocoa and cornstarch (flour). Stir until all is mixed well. Add egg yolks, stir well add milk and water. Add dash of salt, stirring constantly. Cool and put in baked pie shell. Beat egg whites until stiff and glossy, adding gradually 6 tablespoons sugar. Put on top of pie and brown slowly at 300 degrees.
