GOLDEN HONEY SAUCE 
3/4 c. honey
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Pinch salt
3/4 c. cold water
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla

In small saucepan blend honey, cornstarch, and salt; stir in water. Cook over slow flame, stirring until thickened and bubbly, about 1 minute.

Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla until butter is melted. Serve warm over pancakes, ice cream, or fruit dumplings. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
