JOANIES 3-WEEK COLE SLAW 
3 lbs. white cabbage, chopped (if color desired, use 1/2 lb. purple cabbage)
2 green peppers, chopped
3 grated carrots
2 chopped white onions

DRESSING:

2 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
1 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. salt

Combine first 4 ingredients. Mix well. Mix dressing ingredients and bring to a hard boil. Pour over cabbage mixture and stir until very well mixed. Store in refrigerator in airtight container. Will keep a month or more.
