HUNGARIAN NUT TORTE | |
12 egg yolks 1 c. sugar 1 c. graham cracker crumbs 1 c. walnuts, ground coarsely 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tbsp. cake flour 1 tsp. vanilla 12 egg whites, stiffly beaten Cream egg yolks and sugar until lemon colored. Mix dry ingredients; add to egg yolk mixture; add vanilla and blend thoroughly. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into two 9 inch layer pans. Bake in moderate oven at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. |
