DAVID'S GRANDMOTHER'S CHOCOLATE
PIE
 
CRUST:

2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. melted butter

FILLING:

1 egg + 2 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. cornstarch
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/2 pt. whipping cream

Mix crust ingredients in pie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool.

Mix filling ingredients in saucepan and cook on stove, stirring constantly until thick. Beat with wooden spoon until creamy. Pour into pie shell and cool in refrigerator. Top completely with freshly whipped cream. Sweeten whipping cream with a little sugar if desired. Cool in refrigerator until ready to serve. Serves 6 to 8.
