SWEDISH TEA RING 
2 yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
7 c. flour
1 c. milk
6 tbsp. shortening
3 eggs

Dissolve yeast and sugar in water. Scald milk. Melt shortening in milk. Add salt, and 2 cups of flour. Add yeast mixture and eggs. Beat well. Add remaining flour. Knead and place in greased bowl. Let rise for 2 hours. Punch down. Divide into three parts. Roll each part into oblong pieces. Spread with filling.

FILLING:

1/2 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Roll up and shape into rings. Cover. Rise until double. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes and glaze.

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
4 tsp. water
1/4 tsp. vanilla
