2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
6 tbsp. butter
2 c. sugar
6 c. diced apples
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla

On wax paper sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Cream butter and sugar thoroughly, beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in sifted ingredients, then add apples and nuts. Turn into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
