STRAWBERRY MOUSSE DELIGHT | |
1 qt. strawberries 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. dry white wine 2 env. unflavored gelatin 1/2 c. cold water 1/2 c. boiling water 2 c. whipped cream 1 c. chocolate shavings Run berries through a blender until liquidfied. Combine berries sugar, wine and stir well. Chill for 1 hour. Soften gelatin in the cold water. Add boiling water; stir to dissolve. Cool. Combine gelatin and chilled strawberry mixture. Beat until fluffy and slightly thickened. Fold in whipped cream. Turn into a 2 quart mold. Chill for 3 hours. Unmold onto a chilled serving platter, garnish with shaved chocolate. |
