CHICKEN ADOBO 
1 whole chicken
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 1/2 c. water
2 bay leaves
10-15 peppercorns
3-4 cloves crushed garlic

Cut chicken smaller than frying size. Put "all" ingredients in pan and boil. Lower heat and cook about 45 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to taste before removing.
