2 c. plain flour 1 pkg. yeast 1 1/4 tbsp. baking powder 2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. lard 1/2 c. milk Soak yeast in 1/2 cup warm water with a little bit of sugar, until it bubbles. Combine all ingredients and knead. Roll out and cut into biscuits. Let rise, then bake for approximately 15 minutes at 400 degrees. |
