BRAN MUFFINS 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Kellogg's All-Bran Cereal
1 1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/3 c. shortening or vegetable oil

1. Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Set aside.

2. Measure All-Bran cereal and milk into mixing bowl. Stir to combine. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes or until cereal is softened. Add egg and shortening. Beat well.

3. Add dry ingredients to cereal mixture, stirring only until combined. Portion batter evenly into 12 greased 2 1/2 inch muffin tins. Bake at 425 degrees about 15 to 20 minutes.
