3 c. regular oats, uncooked 1 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. sesame seeds 1/2 c. vegetable oil 1 c. golden seedless raisins 1 c. dates, chopped 1 c. sunflower seeds 1 c. wheat germ 1/2 c. honey 1 c. dried apricots, diced 1 c. flaked coconut 1 c. almonds Combine oats, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and wheat germ. Mix oil and honey together, pour over oat mixture, stirring well. Spread mixture on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool. Break into large pieces. Combine pieces with remaining ingredients and store overnight in an air tight container. Yield: 12 cups. |
