SUPER RECIPE FOR CANNING STRING
BEANS
 
Strip and string 1 peck (appoximately 7 lbs.) beans, put in container and cover with water.

1 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. salt
1/2 c. sugar

Bring to a boil and boil 7 minutes. Can and seal in hot sterilized jars. Upon opening to use, drain off the liquid and rinse in cold water and cook as a fresh bean for your meal.

This recipe is way over 75 years in use.
