STRAWBERRY - ORANGE SALAD 
2 heads Romaine lettuce
1 bunch fresh spinach
2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
1 bunch green onions, chopped
5 oz. pkg. slivered almonds, toasted
10 to 15 fresh strawberries, sliced

DRESSING:

3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1 c. oil
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds

Chill oranges. Tear lettuce and spinach into bite-size pieces and place in salad bowl. Add oranges, strawberries, onions and almonds. Pour dressing over and toss well.

DRESSING: Combine sugar, mustard, salt and vinegar in blender. With the blender running, slowly add oil. When blended and smooth, add poppy seeds. This is enough for 2 salads.
