1 c. sugar
1/2 c. baking cocoa
1 c. flour
Pinch salt
1 c. boiling water
4 tbsp. butter (1/2 stick)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all together and pour into greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees, 25- 30 minutes. Double recipe fills a tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees, 45 minutes.

COFFEE ICING:

1/2 box confectioners' sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Coffee as needed

Blend all together well.
