HARD CANDY 
Powdered sugar
3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Karo light corn syrup
1 c. water
1 tsp. desired flavoring oil
Desired food coloring

Sprinkle 18x24 inch strip of heavy duty aluminum foil with powdered sugar. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310 degrees. Remove from heat. Stir in flavoring oil and coloring. Pour onto foil. Cool; break into pieces. Store in airtight container. Suggested colors and flavors: Spearmint, green Wintergreen, pale green Orange, orange Peppermint, blue
