HARD CHRISTMAS CANDY 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. white syrup
1/2 c. water

Cook to boiling stage until candy makes a cracking sound in cold water. Add food coloring and oil flavoring. Then pour candy on a cookie sheet dusted with powdered sugar. When cool enough, cut candy into tiny pieces.

Flavorings to use: cinnamon, wintergreen, peppermint, lemon, orange.
