BEEF 'N BEAN ROLL-UPS
1 lb. ground beef
2 (15 oz. ea.) cans pork and beans
4 tbsp. instant minced onions or 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup ketchup

In large frying pan, brown hamburger; drain. Add beans, onions, molasses and ketchup; mix well. Bring mixture to a boil; remove from heat and cover to keep warm. Set aside.

DOUGH MIXTURE:

2 cups all-purpose flour (don't sift)
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup milk

Measure flour by lightly spooning into cup and leveling off.

In large bowl, combine flour with baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add molasses and milk and stir just until dough clings together.

On lightly floured surface, knead dough 5 to 6 times. Roll out to 12x9-inch rectangle. Spread 3/4 cup warm meat mixture over dough. Starting with 12 inch side, roll up; cut into twelve 1-inch slices.

Pour remaining hot meat mixture into 12x8 or 13x9-inch baking dish. Place biscuit slices on hot mixture in baking dish forming 3 rows of 4 biscuits each.

Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes until biscuits are browned and bean mixture is bubbly.
