EGGS BENEDICT CASSEROLE 
8 slices bread, buttered on both sides
1 lb. bacon, fried crisp
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. milk
1 doz. eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 lg. c. mushrooms

Line 9 x 13 inch pan with bread. Cover with bacon and Cheddar cheese. Beat milk, eggs, salt and pepper - add onion and green pepper. Fold in mushrooms. Pour over bacon and cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 275 degrees uncovered - 1 hour. May use ham instead of bacon.
