SUMMER SAUSAGE | |
2 lbs. ground chuck 1 c. water 2 tbsp. Morton's Tender Quick Salt 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. liquid smoke 1/4 tsp. dry mustard Put ground chuck in large mixing bowl, add all dry ingredients and the liquid smoke to the cup of water. Pour into the ground chuck and mix well. Form into 3 - 6 inch balls, wrap in plastic wrap and put in refrigerator for 24 hours. Unwrap and bake on rack of oven at 300 degrees for 2 hours. Put aluminum foil under racks to catch drippings. |
