FRENCH CHOCOLATE SILK PIE 
1/2 box vanilla wafers, crushed in blender
1 c. chopped walnuts
3 tbsp. butter, melted

FILLING:

1/2 lb. butter
1 c. confectioners' sugar
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Crust: Combine ingredients and bake in 8 inch pie pan for 8 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool.

Filling: Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg yolk, chocolate and vanilla. Fold in whites. Fill cooled pie crust and refrigerate overnight. Top with whipped cream.
