AUNT GOLDA'S DIVINITY | |
2 c. sugar (white cane) 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. white Karo syrup 1 lg egg white 1 c. English walnuts Cook sugar, water, and syrup to hard boil. Don't stir after sugar dissolves. Beat egg white until light. Add cooked syrup slowly; stir as you add. Beat until mixture turns white. Add nuts and pour in box lined with wax paper. When solid, cut in squares and turn out of box. |
