HAMBURGER RELISH 
4 qt. cucumbers (seeds removed & ground)
2 qt. onion, ground
2 tbsp. salt on cucumbers
1 tbsp. salt on onions
4 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tbsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. turmeric
3/4 tsp. ground cloves

Let cucumbers and onions stand 2 hours with salt, then drain. Bring remaining ingredients to scalding. Pour over vegetables in large kettle. Bring to scald again, stirring constantly. Pack into jars and seal.
