HOT WATER CORNBREAD | |
1 1/2 c. reg. corn meal Pinch of salt Boiling water, about 3 c. Boil water until extremely hot and bubbly. In medium sized bowl mix dry ingredients and gradually add boiling water as needed and stir until mixture is firm. Wet hands with cold water each time before making, corn pones. Place in 2 inch hot cooking oil and fry until golden brown. This recipe takes practice! |
