RAISIN CREME PIE 
1 1/2 c. raisins
2 tbsp. sugar
Water to cover
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg yolk
1/3 c. Half & Half

Heat raisins, 2 tablespoons sugar and water to cover until raisins are plump. Mix together 1 tablespoon sugar and cornstarch. Beat egg yolk with Half & Half. Mix well with sugar and cornstarch. Stir into the hot raisins, cook on low heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens. If too thick, thin with Half & Half cream until right consistency. Cool, and pour into baked pie shell. Cover with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
