1 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 qt. strawberries
2 c. Cool Whip
1 (3 oz.) cream cheese (warm)
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell

Combine first 3 ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook until thick. Add red food coloring, cool. Add strawberries.

Beat cream cheese and sugar. Add Cool Whip and vanilla; beat until thick. Spread in bottom of pie shell. Then put strawberry mixture on top.
