PORK PIE 
1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground pork
3 med. or 2 lg. potatoes
1 tbsp. chopped onions
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Crushed saltines
Top and bottom pie crust

Boil potatoes - drain leaving about 1/2 cup water. Mash coarsely into water. Add meat and seasoning and onion. Simmer slowly stirring often until meat is cooked. Remove from heat. Add saltines to absorb any fat.

Cool and put between crusts. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes and lower to 350 degrees for 30 minutes until brown. (Filling is also good on toast.)
