SCALLOPED POTATOES 
3 c. potatoes, thinly sliced
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. milk, heated
3 med. onion, sliced
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. rosemary or basil
1/4 tsp. paprika

Place layer of raw potatoes in bottom of buttered casserole. Sprinkle with 1/2 the flour and dot with 1/2 the butter. Put on layer of onions and cover with another layer of potatoes. Sprinkle with rest of flour and dot with butter. Sprinkle with herbs. Pour on the hot milk and sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees or until potatoes are browned on top.
