MEXICAN EGG CASSEROLE 
6-8 slices French bread
2 c. shredded or grated Cheddar cheese
1 lg. can Ortega green chilies, diced
1 lb. crumbled cooked bacon or sausage
8-10 eggs
2 c. milk
2 tsp. salt
Dash oregano
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. dry mustard

Beat eggs; milk and seasoning until blended. Butter French bread. Place buttered side down in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle cheese over bread. Add chilies over cheese. Then spread bacon over chiles. Pour egg mixture over above and cover with foil. Bake at 325 degrees about 50 minutes.
