2 c. molasses sorghum 1 c. lard 1/4 c. sour milk 1 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt Flour enough to make a stiff dough 1 c. raisins 2 tsp. baking soda 2 eggs 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. nuts Mix all ingredients together using enough flour to make a stiff dough. Knead well. Roll thin. Cut. Bake 12-14 minutes at 375 degrees. Age 3 weeks or more in a covered container. |
