SUGAR AND SPICE NUTS 
1/4 c. butter
3 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

In 10 inch skillet, melt butter. Stir in nuts and 1/2 cup sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar melts and nuts brown (8 to 10 minutes).

Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine remaining ingredients. Stir in caramelized nuts. Spread on waxed paper. Cool completely. Break clusters into individual nuts. Store in tightly covered container.
