MARINATED FLANK STEAK 
2 sm. or 1 lg. flank steak
3 garlic cloves
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. fresh ginger
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. red wine
Freshly ground pepper
1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 c. water

Score steak on both sides. Place steak in a bowl containing mixture of all remaining ingredients so that it is completely submerged. Leave tightly covered in refrigerator for 2 days, turning every half day. Remove from refrigerator 1/2 hour before cooking. Barbecue or grill, searing each side 3-4 minutes only. Serves 4.
