MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
PART I:

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten slightly
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix butter and cocoa together on stove, remove from heat. Stir in sugar and beaten eggs. Mix well; add flour, salt, vanilla and chopped nuts. Mix well. Spoon batter onto 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.

PART II:

Sprinkle miniature marshmallows on top of hot cake and cover with chocolate frosting.

CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

1 box powdered sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 stick butter
Vanilla

Combine butter and cocoa, melt and add the rest of the ingredients and pour on cake while hot.
