1 pkg. mincemeat
1/2 c. water

Cook 10 minutes; let cool.

3/4 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs

3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
2 1/4 c. (scant) flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Drop and bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
