MIXED VEGETABLE SALAD | |
1 pkg. mixed vegetables, cooked until tender, drain and cool 3 or 4 c. shredded cabbage 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. celery 1/2 c. green peppers 1/4 c. pimento 1/2 c. (sugar) 4 Sweet 'n Low 1/2 c. vinegar 2 tbsp. oil (optional) 1 tsp. salt Combine vegetables, cook sugar, salt, vinegar, oil until mixture boils. Cool, pour over vegetables. Store in refrigerator in covered container one day before serving. |
