POPCORN BALLS 
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. water
3 1/2 qts. popped corn

Put sugar, brown sugar, syrup, and water in a saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolved. Add butter cook until a softball when tested in cold water. Put popcorn in large bowl, sprinkle with salt. Pour the hot syrup over it mix thoroughly. Shape in balls and wrap in wax paper. Can be frozen until wanted.
