FRUIT TART 
4 oz. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3 oz. chopped almonds

In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and egg. Add flour and baking powder to mixture and blend well. Fold in almonds, then spread mixture into a greased 9-inch pie shell. Add any fruit you would like and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until done. Serve with whipped cream.

This is a very quick tart. The dough can be frozen without the fruit.
