FRENCH TOASTED SANDWICH 
12 slices cooked turkey or ham
8 slices white bread
3 slightly beaten eggs
1 tbsp. water
1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. mayonnaise
Dash garlic powder & ground nutmeg

Place meat on four slices of bread; top with second slice. Halve each sandwich diagonally; in shallow dish beat eggs and water until combined. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture. Grill over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Place two sandwich halves in four individual shallow casseroles, overlapping slightly; set aside.

In small saucepan, combine cheese, milk, mayo and garlic powder. Stir over low heat until cheese melts and mixture thickens. Pour over toasted sandwiches; sprinkle with nutmeg. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat until just bubbly, about 3 minutes. I just use deli sliced meat.
