ORANGE WALNUT FRENCH TOAST 
4 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2/3 c. orange juice
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Italian bread cut in 1 inch slices

Beat eggs, then beat in orange juice, milk, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla. Place bread in a single layer in casserole. Pour mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Be sure casserole has a tight-fitting lid. Turn bread once before bed time.

In the morning pour melted butter in a cookie sheet. Arrange soaked bread slices in a single layer on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake 20 to 25 minutes in 400 degree oven until golden brown. Serve with syrup and butter.
