DEEP DISH PIZZA 
1 lb. hamburger
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, drained
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 sm. green pepper
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese, about 4 oz.

DOUGH:

1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 c. warm water (105-115 degrees)
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour

Cook and stir hamburger until light brown; drain. Prepare pizza dough; dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in remaining ingredients; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Let rest about 5 minutes. Mix tomatoes, onion, oregano, 1/4 teaspoon salt, the pepper, and garlic powder; break up tomatoes with fork.

Press dough evenly on bottom and halfway up sides of greased oblong baking dish, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Sprinkle hamburger over dough; sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt. Spoon sauce onto hamburger; top with green pepper, mushroom and cheese. Cook in 425 degree oven until cheese is light brown, 20-25 minutes. 8 servings.
