TACO SALAD 
2 lbs. hamburger, browned and drained
1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 lg. head of lettuce, shredded
1 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
3 med. tomatoes, diced
1 lg. onion, diced
1 med. green pepper, diced
8 oz. Italian salad dressing
8 oz. Hot taco sauce

Combine hamburger, beans, cheese, and vegetables. Combine salad dressing and taco sauce, then pour over meat/vegetable mixture. Toss together. Refrigerate. (If making this ahead, don't put in the lettuce until just before you serve.) Serve salad on taco chips. This is much better if you can refrigerate it for a few hours before serving, adding the lettuce only before serving.
