FRENCH TOAST | |
1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 sticks butter 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 6 eggs 2 c. milk 1 loaf Pepperidge Farm bread "Original" Melt butter. Add brown sugar and cinnamon to make a paste and spread over bottom of 9x13x2 pan. Remove bread crust and make 2 layers in pan. Beat eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour over bread and cover. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven, brush maple syrup over bread and broil until golden brown. |
